When iCarsoft launched in 2009, professional-grade diagnostics meant five-figure dealer equipment. We had a simpler idea: give independent workshops and serious enthusiasts the same make-specific depth — at a price that made sense.
2009 — A make-specific idea
Most scan tools of the era were generic OBD-II readers. iCarsoft pioneered make-specific software — tools built around the systems of a single marque — so a Mercedes specialist or a BMW indie could read and reset what a generic tool simply couldn't reach.
The CR-series era
The "CR" tablet platform brought multi-brand coverage, bidirectional active tests, service resets and ECU coding into one device. Flagships like CR Ultra, CR Unicorn and the new CR Eagle P now cover 50+ brands while keeping the make-specific depth the brand was founded on.
