From around 2020, many Renault, Dacia and Alpine models adopted a gateway architecture (often referred to as the CAF / Renault gateway) that restricts write operations until the tool is authenticated. iCarsoft tools with Renault gateway support let you perform service functions and active tests without dealer intervention.
