The iCarsoft FR V4.0 bidirectional scan tool supports active component testing and full bidirectional control for most vehicle modules. It sends custom commands and retrieves real-time data to execute targeted functions, including window, mirror, and door lock testing, as well as throttle adjustment — allowing you to pinpoint faults quickly. While ordinary OBD scanners only read fault codes and give limited clues, the FR V4.0 goes further with full bidirectional capability. You can directly command individual components: cycle the ABS pump motor, operate window regulators, activate the fuel pump, control throttle opening, and run output tests on almost all onboard modules. Not at all. AutoVIN depends on individual vehicle ECU protocols. If AutoVIN skips your car, simply use the Manual Selection mode—all diagnostic and service functions will work perfectly. Meanwhile, please send your VIN to our support team; we will verify it and add it to our database in the next software update.

  • Keep the ignition ON and the engine OFF.
  • Record freeze-frame data before clearing codes.
  • Persistent hardware faults must be physically repaired before codes will clear.
  • Some SRS / ABS codes only clear after the relevant bidirectional test is completed.
